2010 WEBELOS Invitational
 

On October 10, 2010, Troop 205 held a WEBELOS invitational outing as a precurser to an annual event for troop promotion and WEBELOS advancement.  The weekend was conducted in a standard patrol setting with participation of the Eagle Patrol, Panther Patrol, and the everpresent Old Goat Patrol.

Each older scout (S, L, E) was joined with T-2-1 scouts to demonstrate the basic scouting skills and the patrol method.  The combined group hiked the Appledorn Trail and enjoyed some time at the archery field.  Saturday evenings campfire program was  designed and conducted by our Troop Order of the Arrow Representative Jonathan P.

Sunday morning was kicked off with a hot breakfast and then the Scouts participated in a conservation project at the Cub Scout Fire Bowl.  Fun was had by all, team work was emphasized and learning experiences were available to all.

·  2 of the 4 requirements for Conservation Award
·  Troop visit - with the bonus of it being an overnight visit
·  Appledorn Trail patch and Fall pin
